New Garena Shell Value in the Philippines

Greetings Garena Pinoy Gamers!


Great news for everyone! It’s now easier to keep track of your Garena Shells as we implement a new peso-to-Shell equivalence. Starting mid-October, each Garena shell will be made equivalent to 1 Peso (PHP 1.00). No more conversions, no more counting, just top up your peso e-pins or cards and get the exact amount in shells.

What about the Garena Shells already in our account?

Do not fear! They will automatically be multiplied to 10 upon the implementation.

For prepaid cards or e-pins bought in the current Shells amount which have not been used yet can still be used after the change. The Shell amount equivalent of 10 times the original will be credited to the user’s account upon usage (i.e. 10 shells will be automatically converted into 100 shells).

Please note that prices of Garena items will also adjust accordingly to this new Shell value (ex. 29 Shell Name changer will be converted to 290 Shell Name changer, but the same price when it comes to monetary value – 290 pesos)

This would have very little, if any, impact on you except for the fact that it opens up a wider range of purchase options for Garena’s various memberships and in-game items as well as easier conversion and tracking of your account balance.
